WALKERTON-Lenard "Poss" Jaske, 59, passed away unexpectedly in his home on Tuesday, May 1, 2018.

Len was born April 21, 1959 in LaPorte, IN to Sylvester and Phyllis (Wheeler) Jaske and lived in the area all of his life.

Len was a 1977 graduate of John Glenn High School where he excelled in football and basketball. After high school, he went on to earn a bachelor's degree from Anderson University, where he also played football.

Len was the sales manager at Cambe Chevrolet in Knox. He was an avid golfer, golfing in the Swan Lake Resort Tuesday Men's League and the Sunday Men's Club at Whispering Pines Golf Course. He was a member of the Plymouth Moose Lodge and a former member of the Walkerton Town Board. He loved bird hunting, fishing and bonfires with his family and friends. He also love the Chicago Bears, the Cubs and all Notre Dame sports teams.

Survivors include three daughters, Stephanie (Austin) Jaske-Clark, Ashley (Daniel) Buscetta and Emily (Jason) Jaske; one son, Christian Jaske; one sister, Pat (Jim) Snodgrass; one brother, Joe (Wendy) Jaske; his beloved partner, Jennifer Frieden Carr; and three grandchildren, Mel, Lilee and Norah Jaske. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral services will be Monday, May 7, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. EDT at Rannells Funeral Home, Koontz Lake Chapel. Burial will follow at the Woodlawn Cemetery, Walkerton. Visitation will be Sunday at the funeral home from 1:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. and Monday one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the funeral home.
